	Who's who

This section names the people and organisations involved in running the BT Pension Scheme.
Most of the names listed below are for information only. Ordinarily, members will not need to deal directly with any of these professional bodies. Any questions you might have about your benefits should be directed to the Pensions Administrators, Accenture HR Services. Any issues concerning the Scheme itself or the Report & Accounts should be referred to the Deputy Secretary to the Scheme.


Name	Information

Actuary	Mr Robert Hails of Towers Watson The Actuary is an independent qualified professional, appointed by the Trustees to advise on the funding of the Scheme and other actuarial matters.

Accountants and Investment Administrators	Hermes Administration Services Ltd The Accountants are responsible for the preparation of the annual Report & Accounts in conjunction with the pensions administrators. The Investment Administrators undertake the administrative work necessary to support the Investment Manager. In the BTPS, both roles are performed by HAS Ltd.

Auditors	Deloitte & Touche LLP Deloitte is responsible for signing off the Annual Report & Accounts.

Bankers	The Royal Bank of Scotland Provider of banking services to the Scheme. The conduit through which contributions are invested and benefits are paid out.

Custodians	BriTEL Fund Trustees Limited The Northern Trust Company The Custodians are used to safely hold the Scheme's securities.

Deputy Secretary to BTPS	Mr Chris Symonds BT Pension Scheme Lloyds Chambers 1 Portsoken Street London E1 8HZ Email Chris with any general questions you may have regarding the running of the Scheme or about the annual Scheme Report and Accounts.

Investment Adviser	BT Pension Scheme Management Limited (BTPSM) BTPSM is an operating division within the Hermes Group of companies. It advises the Trustees on investment issues, but the Trustees may also take advice from external advisers such as Towers Watson.

Detailed information on the Scheme's investments is contained in the BTPS annual Report & Accounts.

Legal Advisers	Lovells LLP Lovells advise the Trustees on the Scheme's current legal responsibilities and ensure that the Scheme keeps abreast of new pensions legislation.

They also handle payment of pensions.
